Egyptian Geese Family at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden

I was very fortunate to bump into the Egyptian Geese Family during one of my recent visits to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden.  Mother goose was very protective over her little offsprings and kept a close distance at all times.  The little goslings were running around at random but quickly caught up with mom again. Egyptian Geese usually feed on grass, seeds and stems, but one of the little ones munched a mouthful of flowers!
